With your support, RSDSA has been able to accomplish these 2020 Initiatives!

  • Provided $6600 to individuals with CRPS received emergency funding to pay for heat and other utilities, rent, durable medical equipment, travel expenses to obtain medical care and more
  • Sponsored a 4-day virtual conference attended by thousands of people with CRPS, caregivers, and medical professionals,
  • Began monthly virtual networking sessions to connect the CRPS community. During one session, we were able to connect two warriors less than two miles apart
  • Sponsored thirteen Facebook Live presentations which highlighted CRPS research, treatment, and many interventions to manage CRPS. Viewed more than 33,000 times,
  • Launched a virtual walk which attracted 33 teams and donors from 48 states and 3 countries,
  • Began publication of a monthly digital newsletter, In Rare Form for the CRPS community,
  • Answered more than 5000 emails and phone calls which poured into our office. Our compassionate staff answered questions, provided information packets and a list of knowledgeable health professionals who understand and treat CRPS,
  • Educated and supported the CRPS community on our Facebook page with 210 posts which reached 633,233 people

    • Facebook – 26,767 followers
      • We successfully marketed the Longest Day of Golf, our new digital newsletter, our first virtual conference, our first virtual walk, networking nights, and game nights via Facebook, which has our largest audience.
      • We had 206 Facebook Fundraisers which raised over just over $9000.
      • We also hosted multiple live streams with Abbott
    • Twitter – 4,859 followers
      • We hosted Rare Disease Week and had a live Twitter chat that participants were able to join in order to meet others with CRPS.
      • We successfully marketed the Longest Day of Golf, our new digital newsletter, our first virtual conference, our first virtual walk, networking nights, and game nights via Twitter as well.
    • Instagram – 2,645 followers
      • We created a new look and feel on Instagram that helps our page stand out more.
      • We launched the RSDSA Shop on Instagram so Warriors could buy our items directly from Instagram
      • Started posting recaps of Facebook Lives on Instagram
    • YouTube – 6,356 subscribers
      • We gained 1,259 subscribers last year and have 158,000 views.
      • Our top uploaded video in 2020 was Dr. Getson’s Facebook Live. It has 1200 views.
